About

Bobby D Lewis brings decades of real estate expertise and a deep-rooted commitment to community development to the NREMG sales team. As President & CEO of Lewis Holdings Development, Bobby has led transformative projects across Detroit, with a focus on revitalizing neighborhoods through mixed-use, affordable housing, and culturally sensitive design.

A proud Highland Park native and Wayne State University graduate with an MBA in International Finance and Accounting, Bobby combines strategic financial insight with boots-on-the-ground experience. He’s a licensed associate broker and residential builder, as well as a graduate of the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Larson Center for Leadership Program and Capital Impact Partners’ Equitable Development Initiative, a program supporting developers of color in Detroit.

Currently, Bobby is spearheading two high-impact commercial projects:

  • The Porter-Junction Apartments @ 1403 Junction – A 10-unit affordable housing project in Southwest Detroit, funded through innovative public-private partnerships. Nearly 90% of the units are set below market rent, with a design focused on community connection and structural modernization.
  • 8547 West Vernor Redevelopment – A City of Detroit-selected proposal to transform a historic two-story building into four retail storefronts and updated residential units. The project will contribute to the ongoing revitalization of the Springwells corridor and includes collaboration with local minority- and women-owned firms.

Bobby’s approach is equal parts economic revitalization and neighborhood stewardship. Backed by grants and local endorsements, his work is not just about real estate—it's about building long-term value for communities.
