Development Analyst

The Opportunity

This is an entry-to-mid level role supporting the Development & Construction team.

As a Development Analyst, you will support the planning, underwriting, and execution of real estate development projects. You will assist in financial modeling, market research, feasibility analysis, and project tracking across multiple active developments.

This role provides direct exposure to real estate development decision-making and offers a clear path toward Development Manager and senior leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in underwriting development opportunities including land acquisition and redevelopment projects
• Build and maintain financial models for development feasibility, budgets, and return projections
• Conduct market research on construction costs, zoning, demand drivers, and competitive supply
• Support entitlement and permitting documentation and tracking processes
• Assist in preparation of development budgets, schedules, and investor reporting materials
• Track project progress, including timelines, costs, and milestone completion
• Coordinate with internal investment, acquisitions, and asset management teams
• Support due diligence efforts for potential development sites and projects
• Analyze contractor bids, cost estimates, and feasibility assumptions
• Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders and investors

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, construction management, engineering, or related field preferred
